Luke 23:39 - Luke 24:27

Well good evening everybody, welcome to Bible study here on Friday, December 11th, we're still not in our home, I had a little delay there, we're hoping to move in on Sunday. I didn't want to stop the Bible study so I'm taping here from Tulsa, so we could have this Friday night study. Well everybody, it's hard to believe we're getting near the end of the Gospel account of Luke. Today we'll get almost to the end, we'll get about halfway through Chapter 24 and finish up Chapter 23 and then next Friday night we'll launch into the very last part the final chapter in Luke's Gospel and then get into John's Gospel account. This when we complete Luke, it will complete the synoptic Gospels. The 3, they're very similar, have different angles and accounts and help to explain o ...

Luke 22:39 - Luke 23:38

Happy Sabbath everyone, welcome to the Friday night Bible study here again. Tonight we'll get going through Luke Chapter 22 and a good portion of Chapter 23 so we'll be picking up in Chapter 2 where we left off. It's really a pleasure to do these Bible studies. It's been as good for me, I'm sure as it is for you to go back through these things and review them, very important stuff, life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Well, once again, great to be here, these Friday night Bible studies, kind a fun, it's really busy. As you know, we've been moving and packing and a lot going on but it really is great to be able to be involved in a couple weddings here recently and still just try to keep the ball in the air and keep these Bible studies rolling. So tonight we're going to pick b ...

Luke 21:5 - Luke 22:38

We'll everybody we've got a lot to cover tonight, we're going to jump into Chapter 21 in the Gospel account of Luke and pick up where we left off last time and we'll pick up with Verse 5 in Chapter 21 and here's a short section about Jesus predicting the destruction of the Temple and we'll see what he has to say and then he gets into the signs of the times and the end of the age. So there's a lot to cover, we covered this section in two Gospel accounts and Matthew and Mark already so I won't take as long going through some of these verses in Chapter 1 as I did in the other Bible studies but we'll just review it, doesn't hurt to go through it again for all of us anyway. ...

Luke 20:1 - Luke 21:4

We'll everybody one of the most important things you can read and study is what we're going through here, the Gospel accounts. We're going through Luke, Chapter 20, the Gospel account according to Luke as inspired by God in the Bible study that we're about to get into. Okay, tonight we'll move into actually the 50th lecture that I've given on the Gospel account since I started in Matthew Chapter 1, and Verse 1 and we're up to Luke Chapter 20 beginning also in Verse 1. It says, now it happened on one of these days as he taught the people in the Temple and preached the Gospel that the Chief Priest and the Scribes together with the Elders confronted him, so we see this many times in the life of Christ, especially in these Gospel accounts. ...

Luke 19:1 - Luke 19:48

We'll everybody tonight we'll start on Chapter 19 and I think we should be able to get through the whole chapter. We're going to begin the Bible study tonight with the story about Christ and Zacchaeus and he's the short guy who climbed up in a tree to get a good look at Christ when he was passing through. So let's begin here in Verse 1, Chapter 19 the Luke's Gospel account, then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho, now behold there was a man named Zacchaeus who a chief tax collector and he was rich and he sought to see who Jesus was but could not because of the crowd for he was of short stature. So he ran ahead and climbed up into a Sycamore tree to see him for he was going to pass that way. ...

Luke 18:1 - Luke 18:43

All right, let's get right into Luke Chapter 18. This is where we left off last year in the spring, I'll run these from time change to time change so we'll run it all the way up through the time change in March each Friday night. There will be a few Friday nights I'm out of town and so on those nights I'll have to pre-record the ones that you know have to occur on those days. Anyway, we'll plan to do it each Friday night, try to get ahead and keep moving. These are very important accounts, these Gospel accounts, it's literally the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. What could be more important than that when it comes to scripture? Let's start here in Verse 1, we're going to start the Bible study with the parable of the persistent widow and Verse 1 is a key verse right ou ...
