You know most of my life I've had a tendency to have a kinship with men. I don't know what it is, you know, I feel like they're my brothers. You know it's like, "Hey brother, what's going on? How you doing brother"? And my wife said I need to be a little more balanced. So ladies, how you doing? Sisters, I hope you're all feeling great today because this is God's Feast of Tabernacles. What better place could we be than here? Back in 2003 my family, my wife and my two younger daughters, we moved to Tennessee. Prior to that we'd been living up in Michigan and we moved down there. My daughter, my oldest daughter had gotten married, her husband was from Tennessee so she moved down there. Then my son he decided well, I'm moving from home, he went to California first and then he ...

You know you had a tendency when you're younger to take it for granted. My kids did that 25 plus years ago, 20 my son's 20, almost 24, daughter 28 so it's been a while. You get busy making a living, get busy working hard and you take it for granted. My advice to you as a person who is almost 60 is don't do that. Dr. Meredith would say, don't do that. Don't do it. Don't take it for granted. Brethren, how can we help our kids stay in the church? That's an important thing, very important thing. Number 1 don't take it for granted of course. But how can we do it, we need to as parents, we need to persevere, we need to make sure that we can stick with it. ...

You know I'm not going to call anybody's name but the first speaker said he was going to take all of my scriptures and I said there's one you will not get. He did, he got it. And so did two other speakers right after him. So that means we don't need to turn there right? Genesis Chapter 1. Who would be used in Genesis Chapter 1 at the Feast of Tabernacles. Got a new bible so it may take me a while to turn some of the scriptures. Genesis Chapter 1 is very easy, I'll get that one right away. Also the print is smaller. I've noticed over the years that the large print is shrinking. ...

Well Brethren, one of the most fundamental beliefs that we learn from keeping this Feast of Tabernacles is that we are not home here in this world. We're strangers or pilgrims. We look for a better world to come. As strangers in a foreign land we're not going to be comfortable in this world and we know there's tribulation to come. However there is a great reward if we endure. Let's turn to Revelation 20 and we'll read Verse 4, I know we heard this but it's good to repeat, Revelation 20 and Verse 4. And I saw thrones and they sat on them and judgment was committed to them and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God. ...

The nations of the world have lost its credibility. Can you really believe the leading man in our society today? Can you believe the leading man in our society today for example, when it comes like the coronavirus. One day they'll tell you it's recommended to wear a mask, the next day they say, no you don't have to wear a mask it's not necessary. Then they say that you have to wear two masks and then the vaccination came by and they said, well you get the vaccination, you don't have to wear the mask and now we find that the vaccine, a lot of people who took the vaccine is contracting the coronavirus. We find that doctors destroy health. ...

I want to get into the sermon today. The title of the sermon is: Could You Rule a City? How About a Galaxy? When Christ returns God's Church will be born into the family of God. Some will rise from the dead, others will be instantly changed from mortal to immortal when the last trump sounds. Together for the first time God's chosen people will stand before the powerful and triumphant King waiting to receive their positions and responsibilities and service in the new world government. With a countenance more brilliant than 1,000 suns and a voice more powerful than the most mighty waterfall, Jesus Christ will speak to each of his called, chosen and faithful people. ...

It's been a lot happening in the Church of God. A lot of questions. In so many ways people trying to find their footing again. And we wonder do we know what we're fighting for? All of God's people, the body of Christ again has been through so much. Everyone in this room has a story. I don't think there's anyone here who thought it was going to be like this. Events have shaped our lives and continue to do so as we are being perfected. We are in the process of conversion, we are not yet converted. Not yet changed but the process has begun. We have perhaps the greatest gift of understanding in the history of mankind. ...

I know we're off to a great start here at the Feast with the inspiring, very inspiring message last night. I hope everyone got to hear it, if you haven't, go back, very important message. You know if you've been in the Church of God for any length of time, you know Mr. Monson asked us to raise our hands last night, I end up with one of the last ones to drop my hand, But it shriveled when he said those have been here the longest God's had to work with us longer. Mr. Monson knows how to humble us doesn't he? I'm a hard nut to crack I guess. But if you've been in the Church of God for any length of time most of us have developed a very detailed mental image or picture of what this time will be like when the Feast of Tabernacles becomes a reality in a very few short years. ...

How many by the way, have and I'm going to have you just raise your hands here. How many have been in the Church for at least 10 years? Put your hand up. Okay, how many have been in the Church for less than 10 years, put your hand up? Wow, that's quite a few. How about first Feast? How many people very first Feast? One here, there's another one back here, that's two, any others? Wow, it's great to have you here. Let's welcome our new people. Let's check with the old timers now. How many have been here 20 years or more? Just keep your hands up, how about 30 years or more? That's still quite a few hands. 40 or more? That's a lot. 50 or more? What, wow I didn't know you were 50 some of you? ...

The title of the sermon today is: The Return of Jesus Christ is Imminent or we might say, Lies Just Ahead. I want to begin in Acts Chapter 1, let's go back to Acts Chapter 1 in the New Testament and take a look. We'll begin here in Verse 9, Acts Chapter 1, and Verse 9 and notice an event that took place nearly 2000 years ago already. It says now in Verse 9 of Acts Chapter 1, when He had spoken these things while they watched, He was taken up and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And the reference here is that Jesus Christ ascending up into the clouds and it says while they looked steadfastly toward Heaven as He went up behold two men stood by them in white apparel. ...

And this is the Feast of Trumpets. A special time for us to gather together to be as one and it serves as a turning point in the plan of God. The trumpet blasts, they remind us of the gathering of the people, the sounding of the alarm, the call to war and the ushering in of a new king. We are at a critical time of preparation as we count down to the return of Jesus Christ. There is great emphasis for the bride to make herself ready, to understand the sign of the times, to be awake, alert to the events of the world around us. It's easy to assume everything will go on as it always has, that life perhaps will get easier with greater technology and progress. ...

Well, my subject today in light of the world in which we are living in, in the last 18 months the changes that have so rapidly taken place. I'd like to start out in Daniel Chapter 5. Let's turn to Daniel Chapter 5, I'm going to start my message there. Now Belshazzar, the King made a great feast for a thousand of his lords and drank wine in the presence of the thousand. While he tasted the wine Belshazzar gave the command to bring the gold and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple which had been in Jerusalem that the kings and his lords, his wives and his concubines might drink from. ...

I just wanted to point those few things out again the sermon today is not about The Feast of Tabernacles, it's about another very important prophetic topic and I mean that. It's prophetic as you will see in the sermon here today. A topic that is beginning to affect many in God's church directly. A topic where some people are being threatened with their loss of jobs, others being threatened not able to attend a school. The title of this sermon is "Will we place our Faith in a vaccine or in God?' Will we place our Faith in a vaccine or in God? I realize that for some this will be a controversial subject, but I want to point out very clearly what the Bible has to say on the topic. ...

This past week as we finalized a number of the details for the Feast and the kids went back to school. We were quickly reminded that summer is drawing to a close and soon the fall festival season will be upon us. We, as I said just a moment ago, we are looking down that road right now. We want to be thinking about the entire fall festival season, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, the Feast of Tabernacles, the Last Great Day. There's a lot to be excited for and we want to make sure we're zeroing in on that considering the times and the season that we're living in right now. Think about those things as we get ready making all preparations for those days. Of course it's no surprise that things continue to intensify as we approach the Fall Holy Days. In a world that faces fu ...

For thousands of years mankind has lived for self. A life that seems futile and meaningless but only because they lack the understanding of their purpose. The world has been blinded for millennia to their incredible potential and satan has succeeded in deceiving the world to believe his lie. Again to believe his lie that we, all humanity are nothing and insignificant. And so mankind in their limited understanding seeks to preserve the life that they have. They try to hold on to these moments, their perspective can only see the physical. They only know what's right in front of them and their only concern is their life, whatever will bring contentment to self. But those who are called are given an incredible gift perhaps we don't consider how special it is how much it means to know somet ...
