 All right the title of the Sermon today for those who write down titles is called The Good Shepherd. How many of you have seen a flock of sheep? How many of you, I might ask have held a baby lamb in your arms? I dare say that most of you have not and the reason that you probably have not held a baby lamb in your arms is because most of us do not live on farms these days. And it's sometimes difficult for people who live in the city who haven't had any experience on a farm with animals to relate to some of the verses that we find in the Bible and some of the examples that we have in scripture. There's often a disconnect and sometimes there's a disconnect even between leadership and the people under that leadership because they're not in touch with people under their care or under their leadership. ... |
